About Season Search

Season Search is a small independent site of word searches and word scrambles for the holidays and seasons of the year: Christmas, Thanksgiving, winter, New Year, Valentine's Day, Halloween, fall, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, spring and summer.

Each occasion has its own word list, written for this site. A program turns the list into letter grids and scrambled words, and a second program, written separately, checks every one of them before it is published. The page that explains how the puzzles are made describes both steps and lists how many puzzles each page holds.

Every page has an easy level and a hard level, a new puzzle each day, and all the earlier ones under their numbers. A teacher or host can copy the link of one numbered puzzle so that everybody gets the same grid.

Your progress is kept in your own browser. There are no accounts, and nothing you do in a puzzle is sent to us.

There are no invented authors, reviews or ratings on this site. If something on a page is wrong, tell us and it is fixed.
